“OroAgent” is the brand name we used for Agent Banking Service.

Agent banking means providing limited banking services for customers through agents such as supermarket, kiosk, pharmacy, gas station and other outlets.

The major services at Agent premises are:

  • Mobile wallet account opening / registration /
  • Cash Deposit to M-Wallet and Regular account
  • Cash Withdraw from M-Wallet
  • Fund transfer to any person who have only mobile phone/No.

NB: The mobile wallet is an account used to store electronic money by your mobile number which used to perform the above transactions.

How do I open M-Wallet Account?

  1. Visit your nearest OroAgent or OIB Branch with a copy of your ID and Photo
  2. Fill the account opening form
  3. Agent/Branch clerk will initiate your registration by using his/her mobile phone
  4.  Finally you will receive SMS confirmation including your PIN (Please don’t share your PIN for anyone)
  5. You can now start to use OroAgent services using your mobile phone by dialing to *840#.

How do I deposit cash to my M-Wallet account or regular account (saving or checking)?

  1. Visit your nearest OroAgent or OIB Branch
  2. Fill cash deposit form
  3. Provide your cash and the form to the agent
  4. The agent will initiate deposit to your m-wallet account or regular account
  5. The agent will provide you signed and stamped copy of the deposit form
  6. Finally you will receive SMS confirmation for the deposited amount.

How do I withdraw cash from my M-Wallet account?

  1. Visit your nearest OroAgent or OIB Branch
  2. Fill cash withdrawal form and provide to the agent with your ID
  3. The agent will ask you to initiate withdrawal to his/her agent ID number
  4. Dial *840# and enter your four (4)digit PIN code
  5. Select “Cash Withdraw” option
  6. Enter the Agent ID number
  7. Enter the amount you would like to withdraw
  8. Enter “1” to complete the transaction
  9. You and the Agent will get SMS confirmation for the transaction
  10. Finally the agent will provide you the Withdrawal amount in Cash along with a signed and stamped copy of withdrawal receipt.

How do I transfer money?

It is possible to make transfer from your M-Wallet or regular account to any mobile number and regular account at anytime (24/7) without visiting OroAgent.

  1. Dial *840# and enter your four (4)digit PIN code
  2. Select “Fund Transfer” option from the menu
  3. Select “Transfer to Regular account” or “Transfer to M-Wallet account” option
  4. Enter regular account or mobile number of the receiver
  5. Enter the amount to be transferred
  6. Select your account  from which you wanted to transfer from the option
  7. Enter “1” to complete the transaction
  8. Finally you and the receiver will get SMS confirmation.
